A Learning Alberta: Listening and Responding to Albertans

June 5, 2006

Over the last year and a half, nearly 3,000 Albertans provided their thoughts and input on the future of Alberta's advanced learning system with a comprehensive review of the system aptly called, A Learning Alberta. Those ideas were rolled into one final report.

The final report presents a forward-thinking and strategic plan for transforming the advanced learning system over the next 20 years. All of the recommendations aim to improve access to and success in Advanced Education and Technology opportunities for all Albertans, regardless of age, ability, location or financial situation. The Alberta government will review the report and address the recommendations in the coming months.
