Dental office: Part 2
Brad is at the dental office.
He has decay in a tooth.
This decay is called a cavity.
The dentist will put a filling
in Brad's tooth.
What does the dentist do?
- He uses a needle
to freeze the tooth.
Now Brad can't feel
anything.
- He puts a dental dam
around Brad's teeth.
- He takes out the decay.
He uses a drill
and dental tools.
- He fills the hole
in the tooth.
The new part is the filling.
- He works on the filling.
For example,
he polishes it.
- The filling is done.
It looks like
part of Brad's tooth.
Brad is happy
with his new smile.
