Technology Commercialization

The Technology Commercialization Division provides resources and support for bringing technology to market and diversifying Alberta’s economy. To achieve this, we collaborate with partners to foster business opportunities, attract corporate investments, and encourage seed and venture funding.

We are also implementing Alberta's Action Plan Bringing Technology to Market to help Alberta entrepreneurs get more of their ideas off the research bench and into consumers' hands. This plan builds on strengths in clean energy, information and communications technology, life sciences and nanotechnology with a wide range of coordinated actions.
